MacLellan Integrated Services is proud to celebrate and recognize the 2026 MacLellan Scholarship recipients, Mercedes Randles and Lily Anne Glover, two outstanding students whose dedication, resilience, and aspirations reflect the promise of the next generation. The MacLellan Scholarship program is designed to support the children and grandchildren of MacLellan employees in pursuing post-secondary education and follow their career goals.

The program reflects MacLellan’s continued dedication to supporting employees and their families by helping reduce financial barriers to education. Administered independently by the Blue Grass Community Foundation (BGCF), the scholarship expands access to opportunities that empower students to build bright and successful futures. This year’s recipients reflect diverse academic interests and inspiring personal journeys.

 

Mercedes Randles Pursues Career in Healthcare Mercedes Randle

Mercedes Randles of Crawfordsville, Indiana, is currently enrolled at the University of Indianapolis and will enter her sophomore year this fall. She is pursuing a degree in Biology with the goal of becoming a nurse practitioner, driven by a strong passion for healthcare and a desire to serve others.

Through her dedication to her studies and her commitment to helping those in need, Mercedes’ drive to care for others reflects the spirit of the MacLellan Scholarship program. The financial support will allow her to focus on her education and professional development without the burden of financial uncertainty.

“This scholarship will have an incredible impact on my college experience,” said Randles. “Before receiving this support, I constantly worried about how I would afford and continue my education. Now, I can focus fully on pursuing my degree with passion, determination, and confidence in my future.”

 

Lily GloverLily Anne Glover Turns Creativity Into a Career Path

Lily Anne Glover, a recent graduate of Happy Hearts Homeschool, plans to attend Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where she will pursue a degree in Business. Her long-term goal is to establish a creative enterprise that blends her passions for sewing and painting with a mission to inspire others through artistic expression.

Lily’s journey has been shaped by overcoming a significant health challenge, an experience that strengthened her perspective and motivated her to pursue a path aligned with her passions and purpose.

“I’m motivated by my desire to continue learning, growing, and creating opportunities for myself through education,” said Glover. “The scholarship supports that path by making college more accessible and allowing me to focus on my academic and career goals.”

“Being recognized for my hard work and achievements feels incredibly rewarding and encouraging,” she added. “It motivates me to continue striving for success in the future.”

 

The MacLellan Scholarship program provides up to $10,000 per academic year to recipients and is renewable for multiple years, supporting students throughout their academic journeys as they pursue degrees in fields ranging from healthcare and business to skilled trades and technical careers.

MacLellan firmly believes that investing in education strengthens individuals and families, ultimately contributing to stronger communities. Through our scholarship program, we strive to ease the financial burden of education, and we are continually rewarded by the positive outcomes and opportunities it creates for recipients.
